Newly renovated
old stone house with separate studio and private pool, situated in the center of
Pano Akourdalia Village. Restoration
of the house was begun under the aegis of the Laona Project and the Akamas
Plan. Many of the restored houses in Cyprus that are now part of the
island’s agro-tourism industry were restored with the help of these
programs. In the village there is a church dating back to the 5th Century
and in Kato Akourdalia there is also a 5th Century church and a museum of
Folk Art. The village is surrounded by orchards. Five minutes away is the
village of Kathikas famous for its architecture and its Taverns and
distilleries. Pegeia and Coral Bay are a mere fifteen minute
drive
from Kathikas. Pano Akourdalia, a village with few yet friendly
inhabitants promises you a peacefull and relaxing holiday.
